Why does Type 2 diabetes destabilize the immune system?

I know that it DOES weaken the immune system, but I don't know how this happen exactly. Why does Type 2 diabetes destabilize the immune system?
It really doesn't weaken the immune system. The immune system even when it is strong is not competent to overcome parasites, funguses and bacterias surrounded by a high-sugar environment.
Think of hunters. If there are lots of deers (germs), hunters(immune system) can execute some. But if the deers (germs) are over populated because of the abundance of food, no business how strong of a weapon the hunter has, he cannot gun down them all. There comes a point when the overpopulation simply cannot be controlled by the hunters.
That's what happen in DM. The germs bring back so thick because of the massive food supply (sugar) your immune system simply cannot slay them all. That's why diabetics enjoy such problems with yeast growth and bacterial infections and even lice.
It only weaken the immune system if you don't take proper steps to control it. My immune system works slightly well. In reality, since I've been taking proper attention of my type 2 diabetes, I rarely catch sick and injuries heal faster immediately than they did prior to being diagnosed. So, I suspect that contained by order to properly answer your interview, we would have to know what the HbA1C of the entity with the compromised immune system is. Mine is 5.8. I'd bet right money that the higher the HbA1C is, the greater the probability are for a weakened immune system.
