Why does a heart condition incentive acerbic reflex, what is the relationship between the two?
There isn't a relationship between acid reflex and heart disease, unless it is that considerable meals containing lots of flabby can cause both, GERD contained by the short term, and HD within the long term via lofty cholesterol and obesity.
There isn't a relationship that I'm aware of, save for at times severe acid reflux can endow with someone the feeling that they are have heart issues.
Another theory would be of possible infection contained by the esophgas could get into the blood stream makings course to the heart.
I am not aware of any heart problem that would cause GERD. (Gastric esophogeal reflux disorder) But it can present similar to a heart attack.
there isn't...sometimes patients hold non-cardiac chest pain.. cause from the GI .. they are given meds for acid reflux.. and sometimes it can be due to the meds they are taking..
I've on the other hand to ask my cardiologist that question, but every appt near him, he or his staff upon taking their patients' vitals ask them if they've experienced any heartburn or acid reflux since their ultimate appt. HMMM?
