To clear dust and other debris from the nostrils.
It's the body's method of getting rid of an inhaled irritant.
well, because, some nouns goes up surrounded by ur nose and tickles ur muzzle hairs (yes everyone have some) it causes u to inhale and out hale profusely, so finally it just comes out!
to clear stuff from the feeler. like dust. :D
