Which stage of lung cancer is the worst?
Small Cell Lung Carcinoma (SCLC) is categorized as limited-stage and extensive-stage disease. Limited-stage disease is cancer confined to one hemithorax (including ipsilateral lymph nodes) that can be encompassed inwardly one tolerable radiation therapy port, excluding the presence of pleural or pericardial effusion. Extensive-stage disease is cancer outside a single hemithorax and presence of malignant pleural or pericardial effusion. About 1/3 of patients next to SCLC have limited-stage disease; the remainder normally have extensive distant metastases.
the one where on earth you are dead.
I have an idea that it has to be the insensible stage
Stage 4. That means the cancer have spread to other parts of the body.
Well, I don't know much about lung cancer, but I would own to say the concluding stage is the worst.
Stage four.
Stage 4 is the worst. My husband was originally diagnosed beside stage 4 because it went to his brain formerly they found it. He had stage 4 non small cell lung cancer. He survived 3 years but lost the scuffle when it took over his body.To me the worst was not so much the stage 4 but the effects it have on his body at the end. He could not function.
Stage four. It have spread through out the body. It is HORRIBLE!
