Why and how repeatedly should someone get hold of a nuclear stress exam after a stent?

My husband had a piece of unstable plaque break rotten and block an artery last year resulting surrounded by a stent implantation. His Dr. said that if my husband had a stress experiment the day past this happened, he would hold passed the test. So, what biddable would it have done? Why should he verbs to have these the rest of his life span and have radiation put into his body and progress through this dangerous tryout? If it is absolutely mandatory, then how repeatedly should it be done?Why and how repeatedly should someone get hold of a nuclear stress exam after a stent?
1) to ensure that myocardium and coronaries are working fine with the stent.
2)there are no symptoms of blockage.
3)sometimes multiple test become too much for the patient and the household, and they experience anxiety. The Dr. should pin point a couple of tests. It should one and only be done when there are no other diagnostic examination is available.
THEY SHOULD NOT BE DONE AS ROUTINE.
a stress test shows blocked arteries.. if plaque have broken off in that wasn't a blockage prior to the plaque breaking loose. The cardiologist i work for check usually within the first 6 mos following a stent later yearly unless the merciful is having trouble afterwards we do them sooner.
