Why does PCO2 (partial carbon dioxide) moderate during hyperventilation?
The partial pressure of CO2 decreases during hyperventilation because you are exhaling adjectives of it. That's why - to treat hyperventilation - we make someone breathe into a dissertation bag. This cause them to rebreathe the CO2 so levels progress back up.
bec of nippy breathing or overbreathing we inhale much CO2 so the body compensates by decreasing PCO2 level within the body..
You are exhaling carbon dioxide very fast, causing it to drop. It also rationale your body to be in a state call respiratory alkalosis. That's why the solution is breathing through a rebreathing bag.
Put simply-
Hyper= too much or too in a hurry
ventilation= breathing
When you breathe too fast you are exhaling more than typical therefore the PCO2 or PaCO2 decrease.
