whenever i eat fruit (especialy bananas and apples) my throat itches really disappointingly. am i allergic to something in them? Why does this develop when i chomp through fruit?
Are you allergic to birch trees? If so, you could enjoy oral allergy syndrome. There is something in crude fruits and veggies that is resembling the birch tree pollen. So, if you are allergic to birch tree pollen, you will have a local allergic criticism when you eat these things... Itchy and swollen mouth and throat. It doesn't take place with adjectives fruits and veggies and I believe that other tree allergies can cause it too. Also.. if the food is cooked or can, you won't have a sensitivity.
I'd go to the doctor and be tested for allergies
its posssible
You might be allergic to the pesticides they use on the apples. I own a few friends who have a similar problem. Try to munch through the apple without the skin at adjectives.
As for the banana, I guess this wouldn't apply.
You may have Oral Allergy Syndrome (OAS). In OAS, you are allergic to a exceptional type of pollen, and when you eat absolute foods, your body associates that food with the pollen. The roll of foods that may be involved in OAS is remarkably long. For a list of the pollens and the foods associated next to them, see http://www.homestead.com/brucesweetaller...
As anaphylaxis (a potentially-fatal allergic reaction) can occur surrounded by OAS, you must learn what fruits/vegetables mete out your reaction and avoid them. You may want to ask your physician for an Epi-Pen, which is an epinephrine-injection pen to convey for emergency use in satchel of anaphylaxis.
