You can also try IVYREST or IVYBLOCK if its a fresh crust of poison ivy, a day or two infirm, you can try a special cleanser (Tecnu) to wash of the oil. Only use it if you know its poison ivy and also wash adjectives your clothes and sheets. If the oils are still around you can reinfect yourself. Good Luck
Claritin and hydrocortizone works for me! The infected nouns subsided in 4 days.
I've have it for 2 1/2 weeks. Had to break down and go to the doc's only today! I got a shot contained by the butt for the itching, ( said to keep using the cal.you know that stuff you don't want to hear more or less! LOL!) and he put me on a 48 pack of steriods. Never heard of that cut before, but I'm taking them. I hope I don't gain weightiness from them! I just lost 15! Bummer!
This might seem to be strange to some, but I have other rubbed banana peels over the poison ivy impulsive. I read an article about it on the internet, and it seem to work like a charm. It help get rid of it and it stops the itch.
